God’s Goodness to Me – Psalm 23

God’s Goodness to Me – Psalm 23

The Lord is SARAH's Shepherd, SARAH lacks nothing.
He makes SARAH lie down in green pastures,
He leads SARAH beside quiet waters,
He refreshes SARAH's soul.
He guides SARAH along the right paths for His name’s sake.
Even though SARAH walks through the darkest valley,
SARAH will fear no evil, for You are with SARAH;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort SARAH.
You prepare a table before SARAH in the presence of SARAH's enemies.
You anoint SARAH's head with oil;
SARAH's cup overflows.
Surely Your goodness and love will follow SARAH all the days of SARAH's life,
and SARAH will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
This is not a travel post but it's something I want to share with everyone.

I was listening to Living on the Edge podcast -- The First Step to Breakthrough and learned that the first step is -- to believe that God is good. This is to believe in our hearts, not just in my mind. For me, it means to get to know God's goodness personally. Experience God's goodness personally. It's like knowing about God and actually knowing who God is.

Pastor Chip Ingram asked their church to replace the pronouns of Psalm 23 with their names to help them understand from their mind to their hearts how good God really is. And this is just what I did above. I'm excited to see breakthroughs in my life. I'm excited to see God's goodness.
